Archer's PhD research focus is causal generative modelling and its application to semi-supervised learning. He is also interested in the applications of causality to style-based 3D generative models. Prior to commencing PhD, he completed an Honours project which investigated the connection between brain network topology and irreparable cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s Disease. He is currently also doing some extra work with Prof. Anne-Louise Ponsonby & her multidisciplinary team at The Florey Institute, exploring the effect of microplastics on neurodevelopment in an epidemiological cohort.
Aoqi Zuo received her B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Sichuan University in 2018 and M.S. degree in Data Science from University of Melbourne in 2020. Her research focus on causal inference and its applications to fair and trustworthy machine learning.

Erdun Gao obtained his M.S. degree in Singal Processing from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2020 and B.S. degree in Information Engineering in 2017 from the same university. His research interests are on causal discovery and causal representation learning.
Yuanyuan Wang received her Master degree in Data Science from the University of Melbourne and a Master degree in Software Engineering from Beihang University. With over three years of experience working at Microsoft MSN and Baidu, she is highly capable of data analysis and digital marketing. Yuanyuan has a great passion for causal learning and reasoning, focusing on dynamic models described by Ordinary/Stochastic Differential Equations.
Dongting Hu earned his master’s degree, graduate diploma in data science from the University of Melbourne and bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Donghua University. His research interests lie in 3D computer vision and transfer learning. In the spare time he loves sports, photography, and travel.
Ziye Chen received his Bachelor degree in Electronic Information School of Wuhan University in 2018. His research interests mainly focus on causal representation learning, deep learning, and computer vision. He has published several papers at top conferences, such as ICCV, IJCAI, and AAAI.
Wenqin Liu’s PhD research mainly focuses on causal inference and deep learning for time series analysis. She is particularly intrigued by developing solutions with theoretical guarantees and generally applicable in real-world scenarios. Prior to commencing her PhD, she completed her master’s degree in Data Science and bachelor’s degree in Actuarial and Finance at the University of Melbourne.
